Fully Catered Family Sea Kayaking and Camping Experience (Kids 5 to 11)
If you want to experience something out of the ordinary with your children, try taking them kayaking while on vacation. A kayak is a great way to explore different coastlines as well as enjoy camping right next to the water.
After an invigorating day of exploration, nothing feels better than to relax at the beach with a cold drink and some barbecued sausages. Plenty of space means you can pack all your gear for camp-style living, then fill up on mouthwatering food!
Camping is always fun, but with us it turns into an adventure! Under our expert guidance you’ll learn how to light up your campfire without matches or a lighter. You may even get the chance to cook some of the delicious food you caught yourself.
Evening entertainment can vary greatly depending on what you’re looking for. Want to construct a really great swing? Do some rock-skipping? Play frisbee while watching the waves crash against the shoreline? Or maybe even go cliff diving?
Program
Day 1
Load your gear at our waterfront base, then explore the coastline. Kayaking has its benefits such as being able to discover hidden gems inaccessible by other means. Take advantage of this freedom while catching fish or swimming alongside marine life; go ashore for a picnic on a deserted beach!
Camp
The sea kayaks will take you to the perfect secluded beach for a good view of an upcoming sunset; even if it means paddling through foggy waters. The moments spent beside the sea watching the stars above are some of the best times one could ask for. Nothing beats eating delicious quality food from home-made apple pies while listening to soothing waves lap at your feet in complete silence after catching sight of all those glimmering stars up high.
Camp Craft
Helpful tips from your guide before they make sure everything is perfect – so don’t worry about anything getting difficult for you! The evening meal will be an exciting BBQ at sunset where everyone gets to try their hand at gutting any fresh fish you’ve caught throughout the day. We supply you with a selection of 1, 2 or 3 man tents but if the weather is good, lots of people choose to sleep out under the stars.
Day 2
Early morning swim in the sun before breakfast is a highlight. After filling up on a bacon sandwich you’ll enjoy another fab day on the water before returning to Base. There is no rush on day 2, so we can finish whenever it works best for you, however, most groups aim to be back about mid-afternoon.
Is This The Right Trip For My Family?
No matter what you’re looking for from a Camping Trip, take a look at ours. Adults with Teenagers? No problem! Kids as young as five years old can join in too because we’ve got plenty of activities for them all.
Kit Lists
Pack one pair of shoes or sandals that you would not mind getting wet and plan to take along extra clothes to change into after time spent paddling. Bring a sweater and sleeping bag, although we will lend out some if needed. And never forget the things most important – bottle of wine or beer!
Self-Catered Options
If you’re seasoned outdoor enthusiasts with all your own kit and don’t mind sorting the logistics of getting your own food, then we can offer you a self-catered option. We can even rent you any kit that you don’t already have.
